WPT Rules
- Players must alternate who tees off.
- Players must tee off between the tee markers, no closer to the hole.
- After your initial putt, you may mark your ball and replace it in its original location no closer to the hole.
- Cut after 2 rounds to top 72 players (no ties)
- Tie Breaker- For qualifying rounds tie breakers will be determined on the lowest score on 18 working backwards to hole 1. During the tournament, tie breakers will be determined by a sudden death playoff.
- Golf spikes are prohibited on the green (hard or soft), players are encouraged to wear flat sole shoes.
- Players must complete the hole prior to the next player teeing off. You must putt out. Match play putts can be conceded.
- If a ball comes to rest in the rough and no part of the ball is touching the green, it is considered out of bounds. Players will take stroke and distance 1 shot penalty.
- Players must use only 1 putter throughout the duration of the round.
- The one ball rule is in effect. A player must use the same ball manufacture and type throughout their round.
- Anchoring your putter is prohibited.
- If the ball comes to rest inbounds play it where it lies, even if it comes to rest against the rough.
- If a player plays the wrong hole, it will be considered an out-of-bounds ball and will take a 1-stroke penalty and be teeing off putting for 3 on his next shot. (stroke and distance)
- No electronic devices, greens books, or aids will be allowed.
- No caddies or advice from coaches permitted during the round.
- Players must maintain pace of play with the group in front of them.
- Practice green during tournament round shall be used 15 minutes before your tee time. Your group will be called to the practice green prior to being called to the first tee. Max of 4 persons on the practice green during tournament play.
- No on-course practice is permitted during the tournament. If you finish and are waiting for the next round you can practice on the practice green only if all players have tee’d off.
- If there is a scoring discrepancy, please do not continue and let a player services person know prior to continuing. Camera footage will be reviewed and corrected to the right score.
